We are getting snow up here… ski season is right around the corner!

The weather is so perfect here right now. My view is amazing, I can see Devil’s Thumb right out my window. I slept in and I am just finishing my coffee on the patio. It is brisk but not to brisk. Overall, a perfect fall day in Grand County:-)

My favorite time of year is coming! FALL. I love the leaves changing colors, the brisk weather and of course OKTOBERFEST. I can’t wait to head up to Granby the first weekend in October. Great drinks, awesome music and a little shopping at the Farmer’s Market. Sounds like a perfect fall day to me!

I cannot wait for the opening of the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre’s 2009 season. I already have my tickets to see “The Andrew Brothers”. Laughs and great music all in one.

Summer is winding down and I am bummed but I guess I have Labor Day weekend to look forward to up in Grand County. I just started planning my camping trip to Fraser with pals. It has been awhile since I set up a campsite but I think I can still do it….now where do these poles go….

Tuning up my bike to get ready for the Cruiser Bike Beach Party this weekend at Hideaway Park in Winter Park. Should be a great time with food and music. Plus, I look cool on my bike!

Just got back from a killer hike in Kremmling. The weather was perfect today and this is for sure some of the best hiking I have done in FOREVER. The best part was after when I grab some great food in town!

Fourth of July is my favorite time! This year we are going on the boat at Grand Lake and watching the fireworks over the lake. It should be beautiful!

Colorado is by far my favorite vacation spot. This weekend we are heading up to Granby for Memorial Day and I cannot wait. I am going to get an early start on fishing. Just me and the lake…it will be great to relax.  Maybe I will wander main street and check out the Farmer’s Market… gotta love long weekends…

I am so happy that summer is finally here! Feels like I have been waiting for way to long to break out my hiking boots and my mountain bike – living in Colorado rocks (no pun intended). This Memorial Day weekend (three day weekends are the best) I am heading up to Grand County, Colorado for some much needed R&R.

I cannot wait to check out Winter Park’s Mountain Bike series this summer. Winter Park has the sickest mountain biking in Colorado! Pedal to the max. Crazy trails, speed, hmmmm why am I still writing…got to go tune up my mountain bike!
